Please join Cape Fear Literacy Council and our Presenting Sponsor, Live Oak Bank, in celebrating CFLC’s mission to provide personalized education so adults can transform their lives and contribute to a stronger local community.
Mark your calendars to join Cape Fear Literacy Council on Wednesday, June 28th, at Pine Valley United Methodist Church, for the Cape Fear Literacy Council’s 8th Annual Literacy Luncheon featuring CFLC’s Readers’ Theater and special guest, celebrated author and lecturer, Dr. Elliot Engel.
For the 2017 Luncheon, Cape Fear Literacy Council is very pleased to announce the receipt of a $25,000 “Challenge Grant” from Live Oak Bank. Live Oak Bank has generously agreed to match every sponsorship and donation for the Luncheon, up to $25,000, doubling the impact of each investment in the Literacy Council!
Luncheon guests will also have the opportunity to meet several students whose lives have been changed through their experiences at CFLC and enjoy a performance from the CFLC Readers’ Theater, a popular interactive learning program in which performers read from a script to interpret a text for an audience.
